Your HCP business data belongs to you. HouseCallBro reads it to power your dashboards and tools. We never sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and billing information processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers.
HousecallPro Data
When you connect your HCP account, we sync and store a copy of your HCP data — including jobs, customers, invoices, estimates, leads, and employee records — into your private database. This data is used exclusively to power your HouseCallBro features.
Social Login (Google & Facebook)
If you sign in or register using Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email address from the provider. We do not request or receive your contacts, friends list, photos, posts, or any other data from your Google or Facebook account. We use this information solely to create or authenticate your HouseCallBro account.

You may revoke HouseCallBro's access at any time through your Google account settings or Facebook app settings. Revoking access does not delete your HouseCallBro account — contact [email protected] to request deletion.
Usage Data
We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used to maintain service reliability and diagnose issues.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and provide the HouseCallBro service
- To sync your HCP data and keep your dashboards current
- To process billing through Stripe
- To send transactional emails (receipts, sync alerts, account notices)
- To diagnose technical issues and improve the service
We do not use your HCP business data for advertising, benchmarking against other users, or any purpose beyond powering your own account.
3. Data Storage & Isolation
All data is stored in the United States.
Core Plan
Your data is stored in a private, per-tenant SQLite database on our server. Each tenant's data is logically isolated — no shared tables with other accounts.
Pro Plan
Pro accounts receive a dedicated Postgres database on Google Cloud. Your data is completely isolated — separate database, separate read-only credentials, no shared tables with other tenants.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or HCP business data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Google Cloud — Pro plan database hosting (Cloud SQL). Data remains in the USA.
- Google — social login authentication. We receive only name and email. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Meta (Facebook) — social login authentication. We receive only name and email. Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
- Legal compliance — if required by a valid court order or law enforcement request.
5. AI Features (Pro)
The HouseCallBro AI agent (MCP server) connects your HCP data to AI clients you choose, such as Claude. When you use an AI feature, your data is sent to the AI provider you've selected under their terms. HouseCallBro does not share your data with any AI provider except when you explicitly invoke an AI feature.
We do not use your data to train any AI model.
6. Your Rights
- Access: You may request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Deletion: You may request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
- Portability: You may request an export of your synced HCP data in a standard format.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we retain your data for 30 days in case you wish to reactivate, then permanently delete it. You may request immediate deletion at any time.
8. Security
We use encryption at rest and in transit for all user data. API keys for your HCP connection are stored encrypted. We follow industry-standard security practices and conduct regular reviews of our infrastructure.
No system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your account, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovery.
9. Cookies
We use only essential cookies necessary to operate the service: session tokens for authentication and CSRF protection. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
10. Children
HouseCallBro is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email and update the effective date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
